The British pound today dropped to its lowest level for 30 years on the back of the historic Brexit vote . After Leave won the EU Referendum overnight Sterling slid dramatically, falling sharply against the dollar and the Euro. Against the Euro, the Pound was down 6.4% to 1.2222. This will mean holidaymakers travelling to the Eurozone getting significantly less when exchanging money. The Pound was down even more against the Dollar, possibly in part due to uncertainty over the Euro itself after the UK’s leave vote.http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/pound-euro-exchange-rate-falls-11518781
